The Himalayan Outback focuses on fishing for Mahseer and (or) Trout in the most productive beats of the rivers and the lakes in the Indian Himalayas where the odds of trophy game fish are consistently high and in getting our guests to the most virgin, off the beaten track, areas with the best guides.
One of the prime attractions in the Indian Himalayas is a legendary game fish, primarily native to India, the mighty Mahseer which has been rated very high amongst the most sporting fish in the world.
The Majestic Mahseer is to fishing what the tiger was to Big Game hunting - "The Ultimate Trophy ".

The Ten-Day "Grand Mahseer Fishing Adventure"

A ten day river journey though some of the most sunning regions of India and perusing the Mahseer in an eco system very rich and un-spoilt. The expedition offers some fine opportunities for spinning and fly-fishing for Mahseer in these pristine waters.

The 14 day "Mahseer Maharaja Fly Fishing Expedition"

An expedition geared for the fly angler; along with fly fishing guide Misty Dhillon with some of his distinctive fly-fishing techniques. The expedition aims at getting the anglers to the finest sections of river, at the best times, with some of the best guides in the industry.

Trout Fishing on the Sangla Valley

  • One of the prime locations for trout fishing in the region.
  • A scenic location, with a backdrop of the Himalayas.
  • The Baspa River is host to some large Brown Trout.
  • Experience some of the local culture along with fishing.
This is perhaps one of the ideal locations to fish for the trout in Himachal Pradesh. The Sangla Valley has only recently been opened for foreign travelers as it is close to the Indo Tibetan (Chinese) border. The Baspa River is a tributary of the mighty Sutlej River. It joins the Sutlej at a place called the Karcham and forms some excellent pools at this point. The trout population is sustained by an old fishery established a few decades back. The river is host to some fantastic trout - there have been some fine Trout caught there in the past few years. You can expect to catch fish from 1 to 5 lbs Brown Trout and even some Rainbow Trout.
This is a self-contained trip.

Not Included: Air transportation to/from Delhi, gratuities, transport to and from Delhi railway station, alcoholic beverages and items of personal nature.
Transportation: Board overnight train from Delhi the Kalka, where you will be met and transferred to the river.

Trout Fishing in the Pabbar

  • A river away from the traditional tourist scene.
  • An area rich in all aspects.
  • A great fishing holiday, with multiple other activities available.
The Pabbar, a tributary of the Yamuna River, flows through the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. This river is fished best at a place called Dhamwari, with is on the upper reaches of the river and is a favorite amongst anglers for Brown Trout. This stretch is pristine, very picturesque with apple orchards and lush hills on either side.
Rates: For one anglers: USD 1190 (Per angler)
For two or more anglers: USD 850 (Per angler)

(Based on double occupancy) The trip limit is of three anglers.
Dates: March through May and October.
Includes: Accommodations, all meals, beverages including bottled mineral water, professional guides, equipment, train and land transfers through the trip Delhi to Delhi and permits.
Not Included: Air transportation to/from Delhi, gratuities, transport to and from Delhi Railway Station, alcoholic beverages and items of personal nature.
Transportation: Board the train from Delhi the Kalka, where you will be met and transferred to our camp site.
